Ukrainian Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island
The Ukrainian Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island was established in 1978 to serve the Victoria and Vancouver Island Ukrainian Community. The facility is located on Douglas Street in Victoria and offers a gift shop , dance studio, in house catering service, hall available for rental with seating for 180, small room rental and an extensive library in Ukrainian and English.
The Centre is a home for various organizations: the Veselka Ukrainian Dancers, the Ukrainian Studies Society, and the Trident Senior Club. Annual events such as Easter Traditions, Malanka (Ukrainian New Year) and Ukrainian Christmas Eve Traditons are open to the public. They serve as a learning opportunity for various aspects of Ukrainian Culture such as making special breads, cuisine, Easter egg writing, embroidery, music, performing and visual art.
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in learning about, taking part and enjoying the many aspects of Ukrainian Culture and Language.

Join us for a traditional perogy dinner with a selection of perogy, cabbage rolls, coleslaw and garlic sausage or try a steaming bowl of borscht. Take out dinners are available as well as frozen perogy and cabbage rolls. Please be sure to stop by the gift shop.
